Cancellation Policy

Facility reservations:

School system rentals: If St. Johns Public Schools are cancelled, the reservation can receive a full refund upon request.
Resident/Non-resident rentals:
- 100% refunds will be issued if a facility reservation is cancelled up to two weeks prior to the reservation date.
- A 75% refund will be issued if the cancellation is between one week prior and two weeks prior to the reservation date.
- A 50% refund will be issued if the cancellation is within the week of the reservation date.
- No refund will be issued if the cancellation is the day of the reservation.
  - Severe, emergency weather refunds will be processed on an individual basis.

Program registrations:

100% refund for program registrations cancelled before the registration deadline.
A cancellation assessment of $5.00 or 3% of the registration fee will be applied, whichever is greater, if the registration deadline has passed.
After a program begins, no refunds will be issued.

We can quickly apply your refund as a credit to your household recreation account. All other refunds can take up to three weeks to process.
